In accordance with the implementation of Regulation 2016/679 on 25 May 2018 on the protection of personal data, the Association Femmes d’Europe aisbl reminds you that all its members provided the Association with their name , first name, nationality, date of birth, postal address, telephone number and, where applicable, email address, as well as their identity card number (with expiry date) when they signed up. This data is used exclusively for the purposes of the Association, i.e. the management of its members, internal communication and admission to European Commission buildings and other premises (Identity card numbers, in particular, have been required for several years for access to such premises by host organisations following the strengthening of security measures and are only used for this ad hoc purpose). If the Association does not have this data, it will not be able to communicate with the members concerned or ensure their participation in the various events and in particular their access to the buildings where they take place.

Our Association keeps this data as long as membership is maintained. Each member has the right to request access to their data, their rectification or deletion, as well as the restriction of their processing in certain cases.

P.S. “Processing of personal data” includes any operation on this data such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, recovery, consultation, use, transmission etc. For more details, please refer to the text of the Regulation (OJ L119 of 4.5.2016, p.1 ff., see, in particular its articles 13 and 15-22), which entrusts compliance with its provisions to national surveillance bodies responsible for examining possible complaints.
