In 2022, the Austrian Group of Femmes d’Europe chose the disability and residential centre for young adults, ’Geh mit uns’ (’Walk with us’), as its national project. Our contribution helped fund seven raised beds for growing vegetables, as well as accessible pathways, making the garden easier to enjoy and work in for everyone.

Since 2024, our contact with the Open Music Project was excellent and when I was in Vienna on a recent visit I went to see the Music School for myself.

The Project Committee recently received a request to support Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen in Ghent, an organisation working on the front line of one of Belgium’s most pressing humanitarian challenges : the reception and integration of migrants and refugees.

On November 4, 2025, I visited a session of the "Babiniec" group at the village community centre in Spała, in the administrative district of Gmina Inowłódz, a project that received funding in 2025 from Femmes d’Europe for the "Czarna Kura" Foundation which assisted vulnerable single women, divorced, widows, often elderly.
