Le groupe AELE vous invite à une promenade guidée (en français) dans le quartier des Étangs d’Ixelles, un lieu branché et romantique. Le cadre architectural est prestigieux avec ces maisons de styles variés : néoclassique, néo-renaissance flamande, Art Nouveau et Art Déco.

Along these streets in the surroundings of the famous Place Flagey, one of the main cultural centres of the city of Brussels, we will find traces of the most important architects of the end of the 19th century of Brussels : Émile Blérot, Victor Horta, Léon Delune and we will pass along the famous little park "Le Jardin du Roi" imagined by King Leopold II, as a link between the Ponds and Ave Louise, the first Haussmannean artery of the city.

Notre visite se terminera au Parc de la Cambre avec son abbaye qui témoigne de 9 siècles d’histoire depuis sa construction au début du XIIIème siècle par des moniales cisterciennes nobles, jusqu’à la création de ses jardins élégants au XVIIIème, puis sa transformation en Ecole nationale supérieure des arts visuels au début du XXème.
